IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING CORONAVIRUS PRECAUTIONS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After careful consideration and ongoing research, and consultation with infectious disease experts, we sadly have come to the decision to postpone all future Little Terrors events until such a point where public gatherings can guarantee the safety of our audience and guests. This is a highly-infectious disease that must be taken extremely seriously, and we have a moral imperative to not indirectly support the spread of such a pathogen. We would hate one of our events to result in serious illness for anyone, and must make this decision with a heavy heart.
I understand this must be frustrating to hear, as we greatly do appreciate your submissions to a festival that has been running since all the way back in 2011. We've proudly exhibited over 700 short films in that time, and will continue to do that, once it is safe to do so.
The good news is that your submission will not go to waste. As has long been policy, unless you were sent a notice specifically telling you that you were not selected, you are still in consideration for future events, when they start again. We are an ongoing, monthly festival, and pull from a submission pool that goes back years, so please do not feel your submission was wasted. The evaluation and assessment of your film has merely been postponed.
We are sad to have to send out a message like this, but these are uncertain times the likes of which we haven't experienced in recent history. Stay safe, keep informed, and take the proper precautions. We will see you on the other side of this.
Be well,
Justin McConnell

Little Terrors Short Film Festival
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE IGNORE EVENT AND NOTIFICATION DATES. THIS IS AN ONGOING, MONTHLY FILM FESTIVAL. SOME FILMS NOT SELECTED FOR THIS CURRENT SEASON OR PAST SEASONS MAY BE PROGRAMMED IN FOLLOWING SEASONS.
Since 2011, Rue Morgue Magazine & Unstable Ground have presented LITTLE TERRORS, a monthly genre short film festival taking place in Toronto, Canada. In that time, we have played over 500 genre short films, including the best and brightest the world has to offer. We search the world for the best festival shorts currently on the circuit, and take submissions from anyone and everyone.
The festival traditionally takes place every year from September - May, with 9 events per season. In addition to that, we hold tours and special events. Season 9 begins on November 29th, at Eyesore CInema in Toronto.
Our definition of 'genre' is also loose, to include anything that fits our diverse programming mandate. Not just horror is accepted, but sci-fi, dark comedy, edgy/shocking drama, action, experimental animation, fantasy, and much more.
