Director Statement

This film is based on a true story of when I was a child. I had worked for hours on a painting that no one in my class was interested in. My teacher, likely seeing how upset I was, asked to take a photo of my painting. Over the years this memory has acted as a source of motivation in my various artistic endeavors. It is also a reminder that a little act of kindness can have a profound effect on a person's life. This film is a thank you to him, my family, my friends, and everyone who has gone out of their way, even a little, to make someone’s day a little bit brighter.
