Lion Film Festival

Lion Film Festival accepts submissions for a huge variety of film styles.

Whether your film is a drama, comedy, animation, stop-motion, documentary, experimental, music video or something else, we'd like you to submit.

Reputation is important to every filmmaker. We've created this film festival with that in mind. We have prizes ready to be won for filmmakers who stand out. We also offer png laurels, newsletter mentions and reviews for selected films.

We believe everyone's talent should be appreciated. Therefore we have 27 different awards ranging from best feature film to best sound for a short film.

Prizes are meant to help you in the industry and include a directing actors course and networking opportunities.

You can also select the option for a 'Professional Film Review'. We will write a 500 word review about your film, highlighting what we liked and what could have been improved. You will be able to use this review in marketing your film! And a film review is the only way to get an unbiased opinion on your work. Film reviews will be sent to you when the festival starts.

Please note, if you purchase a film review, you do not automatically get considered for the film festival. If you also want to submit to the festival, please purchase this option too.

What Lion Film Festival Is About:
Inspiration is what gave birth to the medium we lovingly call film and it's what keeps us making films. There have been numerous inspired filmmaking styles and techniques over the decades to keep with the times and to make use of new technology.

Here at LFF we find it important to show a variety of films so as to inspire viewers. A lot of festivals show only a few genres of films and are strict about the format of the video. We believe this only keeps us in a box where we don't easily get inspired.

It is a great joy to be able to inspire others to follow in our footsteps. With a little filmmaking talent we can use our films to inspire the next generation.
