L'interrogatoire

Thomas Orth is an Austrian director and author. He was born on 18.09.1995 in Vienna and grew up in Lower Austria. Even as a child he was enthusiastic about the medium of film and its stories, re-enacted many different scenes with his brother and watched a bunch of movies. He made his first experiences as an actor on the theater stage in 2008. Further different productions followed. More and more Thomas was fascinated by working behind the scenes and creating stories. He started to write a lot himself and dreamed of putting his own story and vision on the screen. Early on he tried his hand at making small films, which he shot at school with classmates. After the young director graduated from high school, he entered the film business as a newcomer and shot his first film in December 2017 (The Dinner).
Furthermore, Thomas Orth works as a theater director and produced his own play (The Assignment) at the end of 2018, which premiered in March 2019 and received praise from critics.
