Director Statement

"Linger" came to me at a pretty significant transition period of my life. I had just put an end to a long-lasting relationship, and creating the film allowed me to reflect on feelings that I didn't entirely understand at the time. It helped me process my heartbreak, and recognize that the bittersweet taste of change isn't always as scary as it seems.
