Lineman

LINEMAN Synopsis
In a small village called Chandakavadi, the protagonist Nata is an energetic, educated, and ethical young man who works as a lineman in this village. His main responsibility as a lineman is to look after the power load and handle the on/off power supply to his village.
Sharadamma, an elderly woman with the highest respect and reputation due to her services as a midwife with more than a thousand deliveries over three generations in the village, is about to celebrate her 100th birthday. The whole village is preparing to celebrate Shardamma's 100th birthday, and lineman Nata refuses to provide power to the village on this occasion.
For a strong reason, Nata stands against the whole village for not providing power to the village. Midwife Shardamma convinces the whole village to stay without power for a few days until the purpose is fulfilled.
How villagers come back to the basics without power, how today's village will struggle with materialistic detachment, and how human relationships bond and grow will be more prominent in this journey. Will the whole village stand by to show the world that it is not always a bad place to exist?
Will Chandakavadi villagers survive until power comes? is all about the movie plot!

Director Biography - Raghu V Shastry

V Raghu Shastry is an Indian Film Maker and Screen Writer who works primarily in Kannada Film Industry , He is best know for his Directorial Debut " RUN ANTONY" (2016) produced under prestigious banner " Vajreshwari Hospitalities" He worked as an assistant Director Under Film Makers Upendra , Anurag Kashyap.
Career: Started His carrier as an Assistant director and screen writer later on he got recognition as Lyricist from movie "Lucia" in 2016. His directorial debut "RUN ANTONY" produced under prestigious banner " Vajreshwari Hospitalities" started his film journey in sandalwood. His second film "TAKKAR" is about to release in 2021. V .Raghu shastry has written, Directed kannada first web series along with other two Directors produced under "Sakkath Studio“. Not only as Director he is well known as Lyricist in kannada film industry Raghu Shastry has penned more than 80 songs in Kannada Film Industry.
V. Raghu Shastry was Handling FICCI event with Kamal Haasan For Three Years.
