Lineage: The Ocean's Gift To Koz McRae

More than a surfer and shaper, Koz McRae is a father and son, whose upbringing makes him recognize the value of having the ocean in his kid's lives. Being a sacred space for him he hopes to ensure that both his loved ones and the ones that he does not know are able to enjoy and experience the ocean in the way that he has been fortunate to. Through experience and crafting custom surfboards, Koz translates his appreciation for the ocean into art.

Lukas Olesinski is a freelance photographer and filmmaker looking to use his knowledge gained at UCSB while studying Earth Science and Environmental Studies to tell stories that promote environmental protection for the planet through stories of those who are connected to it. With the hopes of bringing about impactful change that will help those most affected by climate change.
