Limited

'Limited' is an integrated musical set within a dystopian future. The film follows Cassie, an artist owned by a powerful manager, who tries to escape the industry by fooling Percy, a young backstage worker, into taking her place on stage. During this process, a relationship is formed and Cassie would have to choose between freeing herself or sacrificing her freedom for Percy.

The film is intended to follow the classical Hollywood musical genre conventions, however in a way that critiques the Hollywood 'star system'. The film intends to challenge Richard Dyer’s utopia, without breaking with generic conventions of the musical genre itself, and follow some of the ideologies that emerged from the musicals made between the late 60s and the early 80s.
