Götz Raimund was born on the 19th of November 1987 in New York, NY, and has been living in Austria since 1990.
In 2013 he directed his first commercial for ÖGP concerning COPD.
Since then several jobs - among others for Humanic , Simacek, Makita and Pajor - followed.
He made his feature film debut with the ensemble - drama Letting Go, which premiered at the chelsea film festival and cannes film market.
Currently he is writing his 2nd feature film.
The last two years reassured almost everyone into their homes. Life became a distant memory, shared memories on social media kept those memories alive. I thought a lot about my late father, Roland, and how memories I shared with him change with time.
Having more time on my hands brought me back to the old cinema masters and gave me the opportunity to look and listen more closely than before. As nature became a place of refuge, I spent a lot of time there working on this story dedicated to my father. Without words, told through the wonderfully versatile methods of film. And so this project became a mixture of celebrating film, paying homage to Tarkovsky, and asking questions on our repentance in life.
