LIMBOTOPIA in VR

Illusion, Karma, Apocalypse, Autism. Limbotopia is a surrealist animated VR film from first-time Taiwanese director Hsieh Wen-Yee. Based on the architectural design of Limbotopia, the experience takes you on a dream-like journey through a mysterious city. When a real location in Taiwan disappears due to the environmental crisis, the physical city reemerges on the other side.

Director Biography - 謝文毅 Hsieh Wen-Yee

Hsieh Wen Yee is a young artist from Taiwan, who poses questions between digital graphics, photography, architecture design, and performing arts. With simplified aesthetics and surrealism, his works reflect social phenomena, the environment, and the mystery of life.

謝文毅是來自台灣的一名年輕藝術創作者，在數位影像、攝影、建築空間設計及表演藝術之間遊走，其作品藉著簡化的美學以及超現實來反映社會現象、環境、心理以及生命的神秘性。

來自彼岸《LIMBOTOPIA in VR》導演 謝文毅

這是根據一份建築設計《LIMBOTOPIA》所改編的電影，原著建築設計《LIMBOTOPIA》中，是在描寫一虛構故事。一個真實存在於台灣的地理位置，在數年過後受到環境侵蝕而消失時，想像整個空間的消亡意味著在彼方的重生。遙遠彼方重生的一座座建築，都是人間險惡與鬥爭的現形，那些建築群自成語言。
