A soldier is painfully confronted with all she has lost - An experience she shares with the enemy.
Lilium explores universal themes of family, the futility of war and the loss of innocence. A fatally wounded sniper briefly rediscovers her humanity. Her enemy finds himself in a similar position. But these moments of respite end in pain for both, as the war machine rages on.
