Woody Roseland is a Denver based filmmaker/director with broad indie set experience. Woody has been producing short films, sketches, and corporate films since 2012. Woody got his start creating YouTube videos while recovering from a cancer related amputation. After some viral success Woody started producing content for corporate clients such as The Denver Nuggets, Uber, And TEDxMileHIgh. In 2015 Woody Co-founded The D-League a Denver based comedy project. Likeable is Woody's first 'LEGIT' short film.
The spark of inspiration for 'Likeable' came from reading Venkat Rao's article "The Premium Mediocre Life of Maya Millennial". His article completely re-calibrated my understanding of what it means to be freelance and exist within the modern gig economy. We wanted to tell an honest story of a Millennial who has probably read "The 4-hour Workweek" by Tim Ferriss and truly believes that they're on the cusp of living this wild jet-setting YouTube star lifestyle, when in reality they're more likely to move back in with their parents.
