Director Statement

I feel like this story is unfortunately more relevant now with the whole world on lock down due to COVID-19 and everyone losing their projects. The opening (where the main character Nicole loses her project) is comedic, yet painfully ironic now.

Despite the way this short relates to the current state of the world, I actually wrote it last year. I got so close to a different project being lifted off the ground, but at the last second, it was canceled due to unforeseeable circumstances. This is a film about that feeling of uncertainty: when the one direction you see your life going is stopped, where do you go next?

An indie take on a musical.
