Lights. Camera. Cancelled.
Hi there!
We are Kathryn Wiltshire and Madison Hurrell - two professional dancers from Toronto!
We, along with many others have unfortunately been out of work for 14 months due to the pandemic.
During this difficult time, we decided to fuel our creativity by forming our own production company, Bright Fire Media. This was a stepping stone for us to produce a documentary entitled, "Lights. Camera. Cancelled."
This short film focuses on the struggles that the arts and entertainment industry as a whole has faced during this time.

Hey everyone! We are Madison Hurrell and Kathryn Wiltshire - two professional
dancers from Toronto. With the pandemic in full force, our industry is at a complete stand still. Given that we are creatives and can't sit still very long, we've partnered together to create a small Media Production company! Bright Fire Media will specialize in documentaries and short films.
In creating this film, we aim to raise awareness about the impact of COVID-19 on the arts and entertainment industry, but also to show that we as artists are resilient and will come out of this stronger than ever. We hope to prove that our industry IS ESSENTIAL for humanity as a whole.
