In 'Lights,' an animator breathes life into two felt stop-motion puppets on an old factory workbench. When their instincts deviate from the animator's intentions, they take the reins of their destiny, by trying to break free from his influence.

Director Biography - Pepijn Tebrunsvelt

Pepijn Tebrunsvelt is an allround filmmaker, but predominantly works as writer & director. Music plays a big part in the creation of his stories, using it to spark new ideas and bring his characters to life. His love for moviemaking drove him to pick up skills in many aspects of the filmmaking process, from storyboarding, editing and visual effects to building props in his workshop. He believes that taking care of as much of the process "in-house" as possible gives the finished work its own unique signature. He has always been drawn to the power of film to move people and reveal deep truths about our inner selves.
