As the founder of SAVID Media, he has directed and produced impactful films, including Hope, a short film spotlighting education inequality in rural Indonesia. David’s work has been officially selected for international film festivals and featured in cinemas. A rising talent in the Indonesian media scene, David combines visual artistry with social advocacy, using film as a medium to inspire change.
Jaythaneal Skylar Sutrisno, also a senior at JIS, is a multifaceted innovator and storyteller. He developed "Bat Glasses," a device designed to assist the visually impaired by detecting nearby objects using infrared sensors. This invention has been recognized for its potential to enhance the safety and awareness of its users. Additionally, Jaythaneal founded Rumah Inovasi, an initiative that introduces technical engineering concepts to underprivileged children in Jakarta, aiming to inspire creativity and provide educational opportunities. His dedication to social impact and technological innovation has been acknowledged in various media outlets.
Dylan Gunadi is a senior known for his advocacy on the critical intersection of nutrition and education. Through his nonprofit organization, Cahaya Nusantara Infinity (CNI), he provides free education for over 100 underprivileged children, bridging gaps in access to learning resources.
Together, this talented trio leverages their diverse experiences and creative expertise to craft films that resonate deeply with audiences, proving that age is no barrier to meaningful impact. Their work is a testament to the power of collaboration and the unique perspectives of youth in shaping the future of cinema and social advocacy.
David Tahir Setiawan: "We believe that true strength comes from human connection. This film shows how love and support can guide us through life’s darkest moments. It’s about finding hope in vulnerability and realizing that even when sight is lost, inner light can guide us forward."
Jaythaneal Skylar Sutrisno: "For us, this story reflects a universal truth: resilience is built not in isolation but in the bonds we share. The protagonist’s journey is a reminder that light exists, even in darkness, through the unwavering presence of those who care."
Dylan Gunadi: "We wanted to show how adversity often reveals the strength of relationships. Through thoughtful visuals and emotional depth, Cahaya Dalam Kegelapan portrays the transformative power of love, encouraging audiences to cherish their connections and find"
