Lift
When serial temp Olivia steps into an elevator for her 46th job this century, she needs to make this one stick. Inside she meets strait-laced Simon preparing for a nerve-wracking rooftop marriage proposal. Despite a disastrous first impression, confusing office politics, interfering colleagues and Simon’s impending nuptials, these two might just fall in love. One elevator ride at a time.

The best challenge of Lift was finding ways to keep the story visually interesting inside a small wooden box. The narrative follows a classic rom com structure as we watch Olivia and Simon meet cute and find love through their brief encounters. I wanted to really lean into the authenticity of the love story and mine Olivia and Simon’s relationship for as much emotional depth as possible in such a short space of time. It’s fun, snackable content with a big heart.
