Life After Oblivion Plot Summary: Phil, A Marine sniper, faces internal struggle and ghosts as he contemplates protecting his military compound along with it's aftermath. He imagines that the insurgent boy that he and Jeff, the spotter are observing, reminds him of Phil's own 13 year old son. He returns after his tour to marital strife and demons and seeks psychiatric help to deal with his post traumatic stress. Scenes include the 1. military compound, including Phil, Jeff, several Marines, and a female Corpsman 2. Phil at a session with his Psychiatrist at the VA Medical Center and 3. a Homecoming with family and friends with Phil, Jeff and Marines returning the to US.

Director Biography - Floyd Strayer


Born Sep 12, 1957 to Robert E. and Helen L. (Baker) Strayer Sr. in Urbana, OH. Grew up in Springfield, graduating from Springfield North High in 1975. Joined the Marine Corps in June of 1975 Retired with 21 years active duty as a Master Sergeant (E8) in 1996 From VMGR-352 Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, CA. Actively pursuing acting through association with North County Players, Escondido, CA. Most notable roles were Mark Twain in "Mark Twain: A Christmas Carol" written and directed by Charles Carr. Mr. Otto Frank in "The Diary of Anne Frank" directed by Melissa Malloy.
