Relationships birthed from grief can bring meaning to life, but only if we let them.
With Life After, I wanted to inject life and death stakes into questions around the meaning of life. And in doing so, this film explores the importance of empathy and the opportunity for meaningful change that it creates. Especially when demonstrated towards those who believe differently than yourself. I love that this film shows empathy as the most valuable tool of reconciliation in a crisis.
I hope that this film can create conversation about finding compassion for others, even in their darkest places.
