Lida Everhart is a queer photographer and filmmaker whose focus is in experimental, kitsch, and dark comedy films. Her thesis film "Something's Wrong With Kit" explores eating disorders in young women through a horror-driven analogy. It was created with help from the Andrea Montoni Catalyst Film Fund and is currently in the festival circuit. Her other notable directorial work, "Graysen's Room", was awarded the Singular Vision Award presented by BlackMagic at the Emerson Film Festival.
