Kyndall High is a 2021 graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Film and Television with a focus in Directing. She hails from the beautiful state of North Carolina. Her inspiration for getting into film was her cousin Jalen.
The film was originally intended to be a mockery of high art but with his passing, it morphed into a more genuine idea and things I had seen in life like addiction, darkness, loss, and depression. Jalen passed away from an overdose. This film is for him and for anyone out there that feels like they cannot talk to anyone. This is to let them know that it is okay to ask for help. He is the reason I am a filmmaker and the subconscious reason for this film. This film is, in a way, my own struggle with his loss and this is the way he lives on through me.
