During a visit to her grandparents’ home, Annie discovers that her grandfather’s Alzheimer’s is increasingly worsening, and that her grandmother’s health has also diminished and left her sick in bed. She senses things are not right, and begins to believe her grandfather is killing her grandmother by overdosing her medication. As Annie fights to save her grandmother, it is revealed that she is actually leaving a psychological journey.

Leonardo Suarez is an emerging director of both documentary and narrative films. He holds a diploma in Audiovisual Science and has worked as editor during several years to different broadcast television channels including HBO Latino America. After an established career as an editor, he has spent the last two years as freelancer filmmaker directing short films, corporate videos and documentaries. He directed the audiovisual promotion package for aluCine Latin Film+Media Arts Festival in Toronto for the 2014 and 2015 editions. Recently he has finished two short documentaries "Love, Sex and Rose" (semi-finalist TVO Doc Contest 2016) and "TransLadies" (on festivals circuit). Leonardo Suarez has been honoured with a CBC Award (Canadian Broadcasting Corp.) issue by Sheridan College where he just graduated in October 2016.
