I'm a professional fight coordinator based in Glasgow UK. I make my own films, generally for fun, shooting as Firefly Films. This is my first official documentary project which was shot as part of the DV Talent Self Shooting PD Course in Glasgow. There was a whole lot of learning on this one!
This is a short film featuring my friend Chris Cockburn. It's a self shot, self edited, self produced and directed film with additional race footage by William Samson, an improved sound mix by David "Peachey" McKeitch and grading by Ross Gerry.
Chris has been a massive motorsport enthusiast his whole life. He is a bit of a latecomer to racing but is living proof that it's never too late to follow your dreams! I joined him here for the only weekend he was racing in 2024 and it was a privilege to experience his passion, his fun and his focus first hand!
This film would not have been possible without the excellent teachings and mentoring of the team at DV Talent. Jon Durbridge, Nic Guttridge & Dave Young.
