Lisbon, 1983. Artist, architect and urban sociologist researcher. PhD (EPFL, Switzerland) focused on the spatial and visual aesthetic approaches of alternative cultural spaces in Lisbon, Ljubljana and Geneva, she is interested in matters of resistance and compromise, comparative studies and visual culture research methods. Working in the social and cultural field, she collaborates with various institutions and associations, as a facilitator and content creator focused in highlighting spatial practices, informal or authoritarian architectures, related to urban, cultural policies or the market. Together with local communities, she has been leading education, literacy and theater projects related to the built environment and sustainable futures, using visual, plastic and performing arts as tools. Leticia is also a writer, leads sensorial guide-tours for blind people, teaches and carries out artistic personal projects (illustration, linocut, photography, film).
