Lexi Alyssa is a queer creative with bold passion for what she believes to be right and is not afraid to create upon it. She was put into dance by her mom because of the quintessential amount of energy she exuded as a child. Since then Lexi has continuously fallen in love with dance. She began her continued training at AMDA in 2022 after graduating high school where she learned her voice and opinions matter. She puts her heart into her work and constantly strives to create an atmosphere where every individual is seen. As a lesbian woman she wants to be the queer role model that she lacked growing up. She dives into the world's cracks and brings what’s buried beneath to the surface. Her style of work, whether performed live or through film, creates a voice for those that feel like their own may not be strong enough. In Lexi’s work multiple disciplines of art are intertwined into one to create a cohesive narrative. She hopes to make people feel seen in times when they feel like a wallflower.
