Les danseuses
Les Danseuses is a very short film featuring 27 sculptures by Gilles Jonemann. They were first filmed and then animated in post-production. Powerful tools enabled the motion-based masking of the figurines, allowing them to be animated and made to dance to various musical themes!

Romain Claris, born in 1983 in Cannes, discovered his passion for visual arts at a young age during a trip to Niger in 1995. Fascinated by the filming of Imûhar in the middle of the desert, he initially turned to photography, exploring black-and-white imagery before moving on to color.
By selling his poetry collections at Bordeaux train station, he financed the purchase of his first digital camera and, starting in 2000, began making his first very short films, such as Infini in Spain and Real Trip in New York. In 2004, he worked as a cameraman for artist James Coleman on the Lisbon Project, produced by Les Films d’Ici.
Graduating with honors in 2005 from the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français, he created the video department of the communication agency Claris image builder, directing nearly 500 promotional films, clips, and construction follow-up films, mainly for the luxury sector.
At the same time, he developed a rich and varied body of personal work, including short films, creative documentaries, and exhibition films, which have been awarded at over a hundred international film festivals.
