  • While the organizers had to switch over to a virtual format due to COVID-19, the vibe of the festival remained warm, engaging, and exciting! As a filmmaker who had the absolute pleasure to screen my latest film at this festival, I highly recommend everyone to submit! And as someone who viewed many of the films, I also recommend everyone to attend as an audience member. Cheers to the organizers! You did an amazing job!

  • Truly the perfect festival. And they seamlessly transitioned into an exclusively on-line structure for this year: There were group watch parties, private access to the films, group Q&As, and educational seminars. So I didn't feel like I missed out on anything (and I can't wait to attend in person when next possible!) Everything functioned without technical hiccups and on time, as promised in their regular communication. I particularly appreciated the well-rounded selection of films, in that there were films focused on issues specific to the LGBTQ+ community as well as stories that just happen to have LGBTQ+ characters or filmmakers. Everyone involved was so sweet, enthusiastic, and passionate. I had a wonderful time and will re-apply every time I make a film!

The festival was well-run, was very supportive of the filmmakers and selected films, and did a great job of connecting the community despite the fact it was Virtual this year! Would definitely submit again! F3$tDe$Qu@D
