Leo Wright is a multi-award winning Stop Motion Animator and Filmmaker. Leo has already worked for clients such as BBC Studios but also developed his own short film at the world famous Aardman Studios in Bristol. This included support and industry-level training from animation leaders such as David Sproxton, Peter Lord, Suzie Templeton and Sam Morrison. As well as covering everything from scriptwriting, storyboarding, set dressing, lighting, animating and post-production.
Leo has been shortlisted for the Sony Future Filmmaker Awards 2025 for Best Animation.
Leo has recently won two Royal Television Society Awards for Best Writing and Best Production Design. Also receiving an Honourable Mention at the Ray Harryhausen Awards.
Leo also has a First Class BA Hons Degree in Stop Motion Animation, with an additional Certificate of Excellence in Animation. Leo's work has been recognised by the Royal British Legion, British Red Cross and 10 Downing Street.

Leo continues to pursue his passion in animation and telling quality, heart-warming stories through the medium of stop motion.
