Murmansk (largest city in the World beyond the Polar circle) designer Ninel (soviet style name "Lenin" in reverse) Mirgorodskaya is participating in a competition for a new design of the 1,000 ruble banknote.
As a native of Murmansk citizen, she aims to immortalize the nuclear icebreaker "Lenin" on new banknote.
