Director Biography - Igor / Goić

First contact with a camera made back in 1994 when he shoots film sketches with his friends. After that life took him away to all the other directions such as mountaineering, diving, extreme sports such as kitesurfing, skating, skyding, paragliding and again in his early twenties he reestablishes his love towards the camera through the VFX industry which he started to show interest in. In 2008 he started working for DIGITAL FILM, a studio that services one of the major Croatian national TV stations, as a cameraman and an editor. In 8 years he spent working there, he got the experience of working on several Documentary series and films as a D.o.P. In 2012 he establishes his own production house "KREATHIAstudio" and shoots his first feature film called "Mali Div" (LittleGiant). Soon after that he starts his 9 years long journey to shoot 48 lighthouses and keepers of the Adriatic coast to make his first self made documentary film "Legends of the Light".

By far the most beautiful project I worked on so far. Passion of the keepers is an awe inspireing thing. But when you get to know them as characters, as well as their surroundings, you realize its only natural!
