History student Murat comes to his friends who are chatting in the cafe. While they are chatting, the subject comes to history and Murat mentions that the stories are exaggerated because people deify historical figures because of the need for heroic stories. Unwilling to believe it, Ali claims that many of the historical narratives are based on multiple verifiable sources, but their conversation is interrupted by a news item on the cafe television. The news of the coup is on the television. As soon as all the people hears the news, they stand up and ran through the streets. As they approach the bridge, they encounter resistance. Ali advises Murat to stay behind because he is a student. He starts to advance with a full group of civilians, and he is knocked down with a few bullets he takes to his chest. Seeing this, Murat quickly comes to him, realizes that there is nothing he can do at that moment and leads the team towards the bridge and the screen goes black. When we come out of the black, we see Ali lying on a stretcher in a hospital room and Murat sitting next to him. Ali has been treated and bandaged. Murat talks about the day of the coup and confesses that he believes in all the legends until Borteçine. They laugh about it.
