Director Biography - Biz LaChance

Biz LaChance was born Carlos Michael LaChance in the city of Rochester, New York. Born in late April to Corinna LaChance (Mother) and Ira Frank (Father). Biz LaChance is married to wife Lauren, and they have two daughters, one of which acts locally as well.

While at the age of 17, Biz decided that working in film was his passion and that wanted to pursue it as soon as possible. He was able to make short films in his high school film class that jump started this passion of his. That year and the following year he was selected to write and assistant direct two plays he created for the 2006 and 2007 SOTA Playwrights Festival.

After high school he was side-tracked from his goal temporarily while working full-time and attending school to support his growing family. After the opportunity of a lifetime presented itself to him, he became and entrepreneur, and began pursuing his dream of acting and directing again full time. He now acts, and works behind the camera on many different productions since 2017.

Biz attended high school at School of the Arts in Rochester, New York as a Creative Writing Major (2004-2007), he also attended college and received an Associates Degree for studies in General Science. He published a Fiction-Crime novel, Murder inK, in early 2016.
