[LONG BIOGRAGHY]
I am HUANG, KAI-SYUAN, 23 years old, from Tainan. I‘m currently studying at the National Taiwan University of Arts, majoring in Motion Picture. I learned directing, editing, and sound design synchronously. I‘m good at arranging video and audio reciprocally. And I’m fascinated by the meaning conveyed by genre films. In the future, I hope I can be a director and produce movies content with depths and entertainment.
In the form of short plot films, it tries to interpret the thought-provoking abstract concepts in Buddhism, such as "reincarnation", "karma", "transformation", etc. The purpose is not to preach, but to explore philosophically, to delve into a person's religious beliefs and the conflict between its beliefs and secular emotions; Buddhism emphasizes separation from emotions and desires to achieve supreme enlightenment, but as a human being, emotions are needed to survive. How should the values be balanced? Buddhism is to cut off human love? Or give people redemption? In the end, I realized that "letting go" may be the best answer, and it is also the true meaning behind Buddhism.
