Layal Jomaa, also known as LAÏ, is a 22-year-old aspiring Lebanese actress, director and singer from Lebanon.
She graduated from NDU with a filmmaking Bachelors in 2021 where her project in university 'Elysium' won two awards, then she went off to shoot a short documentary entitled 'Homesick' and then went on to complete her first official independent short film 'Disconnected'.
She is currently distributing her graduation film ‘Let's Go Home’, which tackles the harsh events Lebanese people had to endure over the years. She also attended the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio in Summer 2018 in L.A to extend her craft in film acting.
She is now pursuing her career in music, having started her musical pursuit in November 2020 with her bedroom pop single ‘Blue Heart’, she went on to release her latest single ‘Virgo’ as a unique, sensual solo track.
LAÏ isn’t bound by any specific genre; however, she is mainly influenced by indie pop & R&B/Soul music. Her music reflects sensualism in themes such as unfiltered love & the raw reality of heartbreak, loss & passion.
