As a writer and director, I strive to create stories that resonate deeply with audiences and inspire change. I believe in the power of storytelling to raise awareness while also showcasing the beauty and complexity of life.
From a young age, I found myself with a camera in hand, capturing the world around me. Whether it was creating a whimsical web series with my toy dolls or documenting the everyday moments with friends and family, directing became my true passion. Throughout college, I’ve directed numerous student films, earning accolades and nominations at various film festivals. A highlight of my journey was writing and directing my first short film, "Reflection," which shed light on the experiences of being a plus-sized woman in college—a story that resonates deeply with me. This film garnered two nominations at the Atlanta Women’s Film Festival for Best Social Impact Film and Best Actor. In the past year and a half alone, I’ve directed over four student films and collaborated on many others. My mission is to tell stories that matter to me, particularly those focusing on women-centered themes and the complexities of family dynamics. My directing philosophy emphasizes meaningful connections over grand productions; I aim to create narratives that not only comfort but also provoke thought, raise awareness, and amplify unheard voices.
