He is a native of Albany Georgia. After a year of college at Georgia SouthwesternCollege in Americus Georgia and a four year tour in the US Army.
He moved to Atlanta in 1988. Upon getting to Atlanta, he took up acting in a continuing adult education program at Spelman College. He began to direct and produce by receiving his producer’s certificate at People T.V. channel 12. From there he began to work behind the scenes as an assistant director from 1989 until 1992 when he was once again challenged to work as a producer type. He agrees that the road to producing has been a rough one but he has been committed toward being more effective and efficient in the film making process. Eugene Byrd (of Crossing Jordan), Steve Colter (father in Drumline), Jennifer Grey (Dirty Dancing), Blair Underwood, Ed Harris (The Rock, Radio), Dennis Harper (Bomber in Speed), the late Curtis Mayfield, Christopher “Play”Martin of “Kid and Play”, Raven Symone (She’ So Raven) Spike Lee, (Four Little Girls) Phillis Stickney, Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, Bernie Mac, D.L. Hughley, Richard Pryor, Deon Sanders (Football Great), Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Candy Station, Fred Hammond, “Small Fry”, Joe Torrey (Host of Comedy Def. Jam), Renaldo Ray, Monique, Seymon’e, “Queens’ of Comedy”, Crystal Fox (In the Heat of the Night) to name a few of the talented professionals he has had the pleasure of working with on various productions. His credits include Public Services Announcements (P.S.A.), short films, industrials, commercials, music videos, feature films, main stage plays, and other works in progress. He makes is directorial debut with the short "Late Bloomer".
