Director Statement

This is a Dramatic thriller with deep emotions on love, betrayal and support and as such I will lean towards the emotional states of the characters and their environment.
To do this I will be working closely with art direction to harness color psychology and visual metaphors. We would also be harnessing costumes of the character to tell the state of mind.
I have an emotional connection to the film because I have been in a similar situation of having to chose because of family so I intend to use this to connect to my actors.
The visual metaphors we would be using are trees to show support .
We would want the look of Asabe to reflect the different moods she is all through the film; the times and struggles. Her clothes would also show her state of being from happiness to depression. Michael will start out wearing soft colors to show a man in love and move to dark colors during the robbery.

The music will be minimal as its a slow burn at the onset. It will move to being fast paced during the robbery and slow burn as we build suspense towards the end.
