Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, New York in 1991, Devone Xavier King started his journey as a filmmaker at California College of the Arts in 2011.
With his background in fine art and animation, he was initially drawn to editing videos. But realized that directing gave him true freedom over each piece.
After college, Devone X. King started a production company by the name of 90XVision and has risen quickly in the industry as a young director with a diverse vision. He specializes in working with upcoming artists to large corporations like Miller Lite and Def Jam records .
An artist at heart, I began my film making journey with paint and a canvas. I believe cinema is in a way to paint a picture, I want my "paintings" to ultimately change and influence the way people view the world.
