The Las Vegas Black Film Festival is an Award Winning State Proclaimed Festival that ignites the independent film market and gives emerging filmmakers from around the world a platform to display their talents.

Taking place in Fabulous Las Vegas known as the Entertainment Capital of the World.... the event is set to host more than 2000 eager moviegoers, filmmakers and entertainment professionals seeking rising stars. NOBODY DOES IT LIKE LAS VEGAS!

Those who have been honored at the festival include Antonio Fargas, affectionately known as "Huggy Bear" from the hit 70's television show Starsky and Hutch, Academy Award Winner, Acting Legend, Louis Gossett Jr., Irma P. Hall, Loretta Devine and John Amos (best known for his role as Dad from Good Times)
... Joining attending celebrities have included (the late) Actor Tommy Ford from the Hit Sitcom Martin, Omar Gooding, LEON Robinson, William Johnson, Sherry Gordy ... and many more.

Winners of the Las Vegas Black Film Festival will be adorned with much more than just honors and applause. All awarded filmmakers will automatically qualify for a distribution deal, Cash Prizes & Awards.

If you are a Producer with a Film that is Written, Produced, Directed by or Features an African American in the Lead Role, we welcome you to submit, compete and celebrate with us.

    The Las Vegas Black Film Festival is EVERYTHING I've envisioned and more. From the family oriented atmosphere to the amazing networking opportunities and workshops. This festival is HIGHLY recommended and I will be returning next year.

    Ms. Michelle the Founder is amazing, sweet and patient. She made me and my daughter feel right at home. I will never forget her kind spirit and all of what she embodies. 10 outta 10!!

    WOW. LVBFF has the best closing awards ceremony ever of any film festival I have ever attended. Soul food, dancers, singers, DJ spinning soul classics, prayers, praise, and lots of celebrating. This is a festival by people of color, for people of color, with people of color. Las Vegas is a city teeming with energy and vitality and LVBFF delivers. In addition, the screenings are held at the Century Cinema within the Suncoast Hotel & Casino which features the equivalent of giant reclining leather La-Z-Boy heated seats in arena style seating in front of a giant theater screen with a pitch perfect sound system. These are the best seats I've ever experienced in a movie theater and I've been in some pretty impressive screening rooms. LVBFF was a magical experience I'll never forgot and for which I offer Ms. Michelle and her team everlasting love and thanks.

    LVBFF by far has been the best film festival we've attended. They call the organizer Ms. Michelle. She and her team put on an amazing festival. They were helpful, logistically aligned to assure a good time and very cordial. The venue, amenities, nearby shopping and eateries were great. The festival price points for rooms and activities was a real bang for your buck. I had a plum-de-dum ball!!! The networking, the workshop was very informative. The sold out ball room at the main event was electric. All cylinders were clicking, the awardees anticipation, the good food and entertainment, the room excitement was electric. Just all-around positive vibes. Everybody came to have a good time and we did just that. Hats-off to Ms. Michelle and her awesome team!!!!!!
