Laker Man
When Harral Eddémais stumbles upon an impassible lake, he asks a haggard old Laker Man if he will bear him across. In a bargain for a cryptic golden flower, Harral is forced to confront an ancient evil and defeat the wickedness of the woods if he is ever to pass on to Súlollém and make it to the other side.
Full of darkness and comedy, LAKER MAN, is a dark fantasy, taking stage on the mythical continent of Çyor, where the mystical meets the musket. A simple narrative that takes a page from Robert Eggers play book and THE NORTHMAN as well as Guillermo Del Toro's PAN'S LABYRINTH.

From Leeds, West Yorkshire, ever since I was little I’ve made short army films and stop-motion Lego movies with my friends. Over the past six years, I’ve been undertaking multiple film courses, producing everything from documentaries to experimental films, to where my heart truly lies, comedies, and more action-based productions.
Currently working on independent fantasy script: 'Laker Man'.
Born from a personal passion project, Laker Man is my attempt to introduce an uninitiated audience into the mystical, mythological world of my fantasy called Çyor (pronounced like: hyor).
This project aims to test my writing skills, and if ever I can find the funding, push myself and my team to even further heights, improving on areas missed in previous short films.
