LEAFF provides a platform to educate and promote aspiring independent filmmakers, artists, and musicians pursuing artistic careers, while offering a stage for classic and emerging films along with art and music of the Great Lakes. Located on the water in historic downtown Sandusky, Ohio-LEAFF is the epicenter of Lake Erie's greatest attractions, amazing accommodations and island destinations.

This years festival opening night will feature a 25th Anniversary screening of "Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael" filmed on location in Sandusky. The screenwriter Karen Leigh Hopkins will be in attendance to introduce the film. There will be local music and art to accompany the kick off opening night party.

DVD LABELING AND SHIPPING:
Preview DVDs must be clearly labeled with the film title, submission category, and run time.

DEADLINE:
All entries must be postmarked by the deadline date for which you are paying.

NOTIFICATION:
Films selected for screening will be notified on or around August 10, 2015.

Pro Res Quicktime 1920x1080 on USB Harddrive
Blu Ray NTSC Region 1 or 0
DVD NTSC Region 1 or 0

TECHNICAL STANDARDS:
For submission screening purposes we recommend uploaded files of at least 720p resolution to FilmFreeway, Vimeo or delivered as a DVD Region 0 or 1 NTSC. Any entry may be refused if it is unplayable on a standard DVD set box or can not be played back with reasonable visual clarity from a uploaded file. If your film is selected for showing at LEAFF we require either a DVD with 1080p resolution or a Blue Ray Disc that is 1080p or higher. (link to Exhibition Formats) Selected Films can also be submitted using a “Pro Res” 1080p Quicktime file (link) on a USB hard drive.
