Laguna Film Festival was founded with the purpose of showcasing the work of emerging filmmakers. We are fortunate to be sponsored by Oops Doughnuts Productions (Reefer Madness, She's the Man, The Game Plan, Race to Witch Mountain, You Again, Parental Guidance, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Liv and Maddie, Internet Icon, Heathers the Musical and the upcoming horror-comedy Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse) to help put together an amazing weekend filled with screenings, as well as Q&A sessions with celebrities and professionals who have truly made their mark in the entertainment industry. All screenings will be held at the state-of-the-art Regency Directors Cut Cinema in Laguna Niguel, CA.

1. All submissions must be short films 30 minutes or less

2. All submissions must be submitted as a secure online screener

4. All films must have been completed NO EARLIER THAN January 1, 2014

5. All films must be in English, or be presented with English subtitles

    I'm very disappointed. My film won an award at this festival. The festival did not follow through with the promises associated with winning such awards. I was supposed to have a meeting with an agent, talent manager Elissa (as listed), and some other producers. That never happened. I followed up several times, inquiring as to when I could meet with Elissa, for example. The person responding to my emails kept writing that the meetings would be set up very soon. These were empty and false promises. It's been over a year.
