LIFT-Ladies In Film and Television is hosting a short screenplay competition. All genres are accepted. Grand prize winners will have the opportunity to have their short script adapted into a film produced by Ladies in Film and Television in conjunction with Forever Photography Studios. The films will get a guaranteed premiere at the Ladies in Film and Television 2021 Film Festival.

Rules & Terms

* Script must be in PDF format.
* Script should be written in industry standard format
* There should be no graphics on the script
* Do not place your name or personal information on the title page
* All entries must be in English
* Contestants enrolled in Middle or High school must show proof of enrollment
* Script must be 5-30 pages (anything above or below will be disqualified)
* Script action may only take place in 1-2 locations
* Submitted scripts must be original and the sole property of the applicant(s)
* If written by more than one person, choose one designated submitter
* The script has not won any contests, competitions or awards of any kind
* The author(s) meet all of the eligibility requirements
* The top 10 submissions will receive one complimentary written analysis
* Scripts will not be returned
* Submit as many scripts as you like (applicable fees apply)
* Youth refers to middle and high school students
