A year and a day
Elizabeth Siddal hides a beautiful and tragic life story which allows us to contemplate the life of a repressed 18th century artist woman. Throughout history, women have been made invisible. The History of Art has been carried out by multiple women, who have been the models and muses. While women can be seen on the walls of museums, very few are the ones who sign the canvases that hang from them. Behind every artist there is an ocean of nostalgia that carries an extremely heavy emptiness, Elizabeth manages to get out of the paintings to face her demons, likewise, she wraps us in a reflection on feminism and depression.
