逝去 - LOSS
Loss( 逝去 in chinese) is the aftermath of a death, a brief depiction of survivors who overcome traumas and heartbreaks.
We follow a woman into her mind, exploring how one copes with losing something or someone important in their life. The journey plays out in different grand emotions that eventually show us the overbearing spirit that we all possess.
This short was inspired by the 5 stages of grief, developed in the '60s by Dr. Elisabeth Küber Ross. The five stages, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance are a part of the framework that makes up our learning to live with the one we lost. They are tools to help us frame and identify what we may be feeling.
