The Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival - LABRFF is the most important Brazilian film festival in the United States. It was founded in 2007 and has screened over 650 films including features, documentaries and shorts. The most important aspect of the film festival is the film market that happens in parallel do the festival at the AKA hotel in Beverly HillsAND Laemmle Theater in Santa Monica. Fillmmakers and Producers will have the opportunity to pitch their projects to executives from Hollywood.

The festival has been recognized from the City of Los Angeles as the most important international cultural event for the past 11 years.

All shorts MUST be only up to 20 minutes long.
All movies MUST be subtitled in English if English is not the original language.
All movies MUST be received in DCP file.

Submitting your film does not guarantee festival acceptance or screening. Acceptance into the festival does not guarantee award or prize. Submission fee's are nonrefundable. LABRFF reserves the right to change its programming without notice.

LABRFF is not responsible for your Airlines tickets and/or hotel to attend the event.
LABRFF is not responsible for your subtitles, however we do have a vendor to recommend.
We only accept movies with English subtitles, no exceptions.
We only accept shorts with maximum of 20 min. No exceptions.
We do not return and promotional material sent to us to promote your movie.
You must provide us with all the metadata and trailer in ENGLISH.

    I had a great time at LABRFF 2018. Meire Fernandes and her fantastic team, put together the best of Brazilian Cinema, in a beautiful celebration in L.A. Highly recommend the festival and can't wait to be back soon
