UMBRELLA
Paris, 2023. A top manager of an international company is experiencing a midlife crisis. Not a manager, a sports commentator who cannot find a place for himself during the off-season. Perhaps not a commentator, but a private investigator unraveling a complex crime. More like a sleeper agent leading a double life. The lives of a man and a cat...

A military band is meant cheer up, but fuels aggro instead. Run. The phantom of liberty. Umbrellas, easels, carousels and divers. A drop of Picon in a glass of beer. Recall. Liberty of the phantom. Be careful - you are being pursued by secret double bassists. Dream. It's strange how music always turns into sex.
Eric Satie was born 158 years ago in Calvados.
Which do you prefer: music or sausage?
Komarov: I am a long-time Bunuel fan, and this surprise Parisian tale verging on symbolism and realism was a gift of fate. This film's provocative atmosphere was born out of a tangle of incompatible meanings, and it desperately called for Satie.
Nochin: This is pure adventure and experimentation. Site-specific. To be honest, I don’t really believe in the short film genre, but it seems to me that we got a quite decent and interesting result.
