The LMCFilms Student Film Fest is an annual Spring event that showcases a diverse range of films created by university students. These courses provide students with the opportunity to explore the art of filmmaking, fostering creativity and storytelling across both narrative and documentary formats.

LMCSJFF jury awards films in the following categories:

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for consideration:


1. Student Status: You must be a current university student or a recent graduate (within 2 years of graduation). Please upload a copy of your redacted student ID with a submission.

2. Compliance: You must fully comply with these Entry Rules & Regulations, including all deadlines, film length, entry materials, and other requirements.

3. Subtitles: Non-English language works must include English subtitles at the time of submission. Dialogue lists will not be accepted as substitutes.

4. Original Work: All films must be the original work of the filmmakers, and all filmmakers must hold the necessary rights for the content submitted.

5. Film Length: We only accept short films with a runtime of 20 minutes or less.

6. Production Date: Films must have been completed after January 1, 2023
