Nowadays, the way in which people are taking in information is changing. Rather than relying on the written word, the world is shifting towards a multimedia approach. People are looking up for information from so many different sources through the Internet. However, they sometimes cannot tell whether these pieces of information are trustworthy or questionable and how it literally can affect someone if they believe in these kinds of content. It is very important when you can distinguish a piece of information and react to it the right way. LIVE is a story about Arthur, a streamer who is live streaming his day at work. Nevertheless, at the end of the story, it turns out that everything is fake and staged by himself. The story is showing two sides of our main character, the virtual identity when he is in front of a camera, and the real identity when he goes out of the streaming room back to reality. We got a lot of inspiration from Best Friends by GOBELINS and The Social Dilemma as both films are talking about the effect of technology on our life. There are a lot of challenges during our initial deployment. We took quite a long time to finalize our story plot. Therefore, after that, we have to rush into production, from designing the characters to animating them, to catch up with the schedule. One of our group mates is now working from home in Korea, so sometimes there is miscommunication between us. Despite these obstacles, we have always got each other’s back, and put our best efforts to finish this film. All in all, we hope that our film can show many of our feelings and a side of what is happening in the online world.
