Director Biography - Lucas Vasconcelos

Lucas Vasconcelos is 21 year old director, screenwriter and editor. Lucas began making short films with his neighbors using only a used camera.
Over time his passion for film grew bigger, and he went to Los Angeles to study at the New York Film Academy. Returning to Brazil, he worked behind the camera with his father in the feature films "Dona Flor e Seus Dois Maridos" and "Fala Sério Mãe".
Wrote, directed and edited “O Jogo Da Velha” “Mar de Helena” “Bem-Vindo De Volta” and now “LINDA” produced by Boa Idea Entertainment.
Winning numerous nominations and awards at festivals around Brazil and the world.

Director Statement

"Initially “LINDA” had as main purpose the representation of my relationships but it became much more.
I came up with a movie with so many interpretations. I want to hear what everyone thinks the movie is about. Some will find it romantic, others abusive ... And there's no right answer for it."
